Jim Burns & Co Ltd was established in 1990 by Jim & Agnes Burns and has become one of Kerry’s leading Auctioneer firms. Both have extensive banking experience.  Jim is a member of the Irish Professional Auctioneers and Valuers Institute.

Jim Burns Auctioneers is the most experienced & qualified estate agents based in the Mid/South Kerry area. Between Jim & Darragh Burns they have a combined experience of over 45 years. 

 

Jim Burns

Jim has worked in the Auctioneering business for approx. 30 years and has a wealth of experience in all areas of auctioneering and is a member of the Irish Professional Auctioneers and Valuers. He has gained expert knowledge of the Mid/South Kerry area over the years .

Darragh Burns

Darragh is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors & Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland. Darragh is also an accredited Registered Valuer which enables him to work in more areas of specialisation. He remains the only SCSI and Registered Valuer with an Auctioneering Business in the Mid Kerry area and south Kerry area.

Darragh joined the company as a fully qualified Auctioneer with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Property Valuation & Management from Limerick Institute of Technology.

Prior to returning to Killorglin, Darragh worked with Sherry Fitzgerald O’Connell and spent a number of years with Jordan estate agents in Newbridge Co. Kildare as a residential sales negotiator. He gained a wealth of experience in all areas before returning back to the family business.

Darragh works in all areas of the Business relating to Residential, Commercial Sales, Letting and Valuations.
